“Fading Bond: Letting Go and Embracing the Unknown”

“Fading Bond: Letting Go and Embracing the Unknown

The poem captures the complex emotions that come with losing a strong bond like magnetic field.

The speaker notes that there is no fault to be found, but the bond weakens nonetheless, leaving the speaker with a silent longing in their heart.

Despite the speaker’s efforts to make things right, it is realized that sometimes bonds are meant to fade.

This realization brings a deep sense of loss and grief, and the speaker acknowledges the pain of separation that cuts them deeply.

Also suggesting that letting go can be a necessary part of moving forward instead of caging the other person with unsolicited affection.

Yet, the poem also suggests that letting go of the old bond might make room for new connections and relationships to form.

The speaker is hopeful that though the current bond may fall apart, their heart will keep beating with the possibility of new beginnings.

Someday, somewhere, someone will know your worth and not let you go away 🙂

……………………………………………………………

Magnetic bond once felt unbreakable, now slipping away,
Like a fading dream, that can no longer stay.

No fault to be found, but still it weakens,
Leaving me with a heart, that silently beckons.

Decided to stand together, through thick and thin,
And share our joys and sorrows, with a grin.

But somewhere along the way, we lost our stride,
And our bond now weakens, like a drifting tide.

I try to make amends, but it’s never enough,
As our bond keeps slipping, in the tides so rough.

The pain of separation, cuts me deep,
Leaving behind a wound, that’s hard to keep.

But sometimes, bonds are meant to fade,
And I have to let go, of the memories we’ve made.

Life has a way, of taking us on a ride,
And new bonds may form, on the other side.

So let me grieve the loss, that you may also feel,
And trust that time will help us heal.

Though our bond may fall apart,
Our hearts will keep beating, with a brand new start.

And who knows what new bonds, we’ll find ahead,
As we journey on, with love and hope instead.

Someday, somewhere, someone will know,
The worth you hold, so let it show.

Though right now they may not see,
Your value shines bright, wild and free.
